Emo Prom – the Epitome of Emo Night Raleigh

Emo Prom 2018 at Imurj was a blast! The special edition of Emo Night featured a reason to dress up in your best party dress, and a professional photographer to document all the young emo love. Live performances from Ryan Dunson (Rookie Of The Year), Green Aisles, & Our Blue Lights in addition to the usual DJ sets all helped Emo Prom to stand out in the monthly party schedule.

“Get Sad Y’all” – Raleigh’s Emo Night – is a monthly party for friends, fun, nostalgia, and maybe a PBR or two. DJ sets from members of various emo and pop punk bands, both local & big national names such as Hawthorne Heights, are the main staple of the party – a party where the playlist is full of everyone’s favorite pop punk & emo songs from the early 2000’s, and singing along is totally welcome. You’re amongst friends even if it’s your first time there!

Speaking of Hawthorne Heights, they’re hitting the road and going on tour this spring. They play here in Raleigh at Imurj on Saturday, April 28! Listene
r, Hotel Books, Sienna Skies and Heavy Things will open the show. Hawthorne Heights will be promoting their new album “Bad Frequencies” that drops on April 27 2018. Tickets are already on sale, so get yours today! Check out all of our upcoming events right here.

You might notice stickers around town of Sir Walter Emo Raleigh featuring the infamous “emo swoop” hairstyle.
See you at the next party!
